Outdoor school signs, stadium signage, athletic facility entrance signs, and campus identification signs are popular options for school campuses.  For outdoor signage, the only material we recommend is aluminum as it is the most durable.

Yes. Aluminum signs are fully suitable for outdoor use and can withstand the elements — ideal for outdoor campus signs, stadium signage, athletic facility entrances, and building identification. Coroplast, PVC, and acrylic signs are recommended for indoor use only.

Custom school signs are available in four materials, each suited to different locations and budgets.

Coroplast — A lightweight, corrugated plastic material — our most economical option. Ideal for temporary or semi-permanent indoor signs, classroom signs, and spirit signs. Not recommended for long-term outdoor use.

PVC — A rigid, durable material that delivers vibrant color and a clean, professional finish. The most popular choice for indoor school signs, gym signage, and athletic facility displays. Indoor use recommended.

Acrylic — A premium, glass-like material with a polished, high-end appearance. The most professional-looking option for main lobbies, administrative offices, trophy cases, and high-visibility indoor spaces. Graphics are printed “sub-surface” to prevent them from being scratched or damaged in high traffic areas.

Aluminum — Our most durable sign material and the only option fully suitable for outdoor use. Ideal for outdoor campus signs, stadium signage, building identification, and any sign exposed to weather. Also works beautifully indoors.

SchoolPride custom school signs are used throughout school and athletic facility environments including gymnasiums, locker rooms, hallways, weight rooms, classrooms, cafeterias, main lobbies, administrative offices, pool and aquatic facilities, press boxes, stadium walls, athletic facility entrances, school building entrances, outdoor campus grounds, parking lots, and more.

Custom school signs typically ship in 10 to 15 business days after order placement. Production times may be slightly longer during peak season. An order is not placed until both artwork approval and payment or school purchase order is received.

Because our products need to be professionally designed, they cannot be ordered online.  A free design and a full written quote are part of our process.

Our standard sizes are 12”x12”, 12”x18”, 18”x24”, 24”x24”, 24”x36”, 36”x36”, 36”x48”, 48”x48”, 48”x60”, 48”x72” & 48”96”.  Custom shapes and sizes are also available.
